Zeb Nickel (TSX-V:ZBNI, OTC:ZBNIF) Corp has announced that Alex Spiro and Anthony James Nieuwenhuys have been appointed to the company’s board of directors.

Nieuwenhuys joins the board as a non-executive chairman and Spiro as a director, Zeb Nickel (TSX-V:ZBNI, OTC:ZBNIF) said in a statement.

Nevada Silver Corporation (TSX-V:NSC), the Toronto-based resource company soon to be known as Electric Metals USA (NYSE:MUSA), has a new chairman.

The firm announced it had appointed Oliver Lennox-King in a non-executive capacity, with immediate effect.

FSD Pharma Inc (CSE:HUGE, NASDAQ:HUGE) said its board of directors has approved a share repurchase program that will allow the company to buy back up to 1.9 million of its subordinate Class B voting shares over the next 12 months. 

“FSD Pharma is focused on the advancement of its drug candidates toward the clinic, and we recognize there may be a strategic opportunity to enhance shareholder value without compromising our ambitious growth plans,” the company’s interim CEO Anthony Durkacz said in a statement.

T Stamp Inc (NASDAQ:IDAI, EURONEXT:AIID), doing business as Trust Stamp, has announced a tie-up with Simunix, a company which makes UK people, business, and address data available for search and analysis. 

The partnership will provide Simunix customers access to the company’s biometric and optical character recognition (OCR) solutions. 

Silvercorp Metals Inc (TSX:SVM, AMEX:SVM), the China-focused metals miner, said it produced around 1.9 million ounces of silver, 1,100 ounces of gold, 20.1 million pounds of lead, and 7 million pounds of zinc in its 2023 fiscal third quarter to end-December last year. 

That represented an uplift of 1%, 0%, and 6%, respectively, but a 13% drop in zinc output compared to fiscal 3Q, 2022.

Guardforce AI Co Ltd (NASDAQ:GFAI) has announced that its Thailand subsidiary Guardforce Cash Solutions Security (GFCS) has secured two long-term contracts with pre-existing clients for its secured logistics and cash handling services, further strengthening its leading position in that country. 

The company said both clients converted into long-term agreements following an expansion of the scope of services provided by GFCS, with both contracts started in the first quarter of 2023.

Mandalay Resources Corp. (TSX:MND, OTCQB:MNDJF) has said its production for full-year 2022 was 105,906 saleable gold equivalent ounces, while sales reached 106,094 ounces.

For 2023, the company’s consolidated production guidance is for 105,000-118,000 saleable gold equivalent ounces, while cash cost and all-in sustaining costs are expected at $800–$975 and $1,150-$1,325 per gold equivalent ounce, respectively.

Cinedigm Corp (NASDAQ:CIDM), the premier streaming company, and multi-platform producer Roundtable Entertainment have announced a collaboration with GoPro Inc to develop the GoPro Channel, with plans to premiere this year.

The GoPro Channel joins Roundtable partner Cinedigm’s extensive portfolio of over 30 streaming channels, which span several popular content genres dedicated to serving enthusiastic fan bases.

Voyageur Pharmaceuticals Ltd (TSX-V:VM, OTC:VYYRF) said it has increased the maximum size of the non-brokered private placement it announced on December 8 and December 23, 2022, due to strong investor demand.

The offering will now be for 17,142,857 units at 7 cents each for gross proceeds of up to $1.2 million, up from 9,285,714 units for gross proceeds of $650,000.

Maverix Metals Inc (TSX:MMX) has said that shareholders voted overwhelmingly in favor of its proposed $600 million takeover by Triple Flag Precious Metals Corp at a special meeting conducted on January 12, 2023.  

The streaming company noted that the acquisition by way of a plan of arrangement was approved by over 98% of the votes cast by shareholders. Votes at the meeting were taken by poll online, and proxies were received by Maverix prior to the meeting, it added.

Kavango Resources PLC (LSE:KAV, OTC:KVGOF) has told investors that drilling is about to restart on the company’s Kalahari Copper Belt (KCB) project area following a scheduled summer break.

Drilling will resume to complete the sixth and final hole in the programme, rounding off a total of 1,640 metres of drilling across all the holes.

Ncondezi Energy Ltd (AIM:NCCL, OTC:NCDZF) told investors it has progressed a number of milestones for its solar power and energy storage project in Mozambique.

The company, in a statement, said its transmission integration (Tx) study has been approved by state regulator Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM).

Bens Creek Group PLC (AIM:BEN, OTC:BENCF) said it has ordered a second highwall mining unit by the end of the month to increase production at its metallurgical coal mine in West Virginia.

The steel industry supplier outlined how it amended the contract with highwall mining contractor Mega Highwall Mining to confirm the second machine, unit 77, with a right but no obligation to a third if it wishes.

European Lithium Ltd (ASX:EUR, OTCQB:EULIF) has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi-based Obeikan Investment Group to build and operate a hydroxide plant under a joint venture (JV) in Saudi Arabia for EUR’s Wolfsberg Lithium Project in Austria.  

The agreement came about at the at the Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh, where EUR was welcomed by global mining industry leaders, governments, investors and other key players, all of whom were there to foster and develop opportunities for long-lasting partnerships.
